I was first drawn to Crystals when I was 8 years old. I picked a piece of Amethyst and a Clear Quartz point at the time. I had the piece of Amethyst for years and gifted my uncle the Clear Quartz point right away; for whatever reason I felt he needed it more than I. In 2008, I was introduced to a Reiki Master and started to receive Reiki treatments as I was curious; I loved it from the start. She was also selling crystal jewelry in her studio and it was then that I started to really become more interested in the stones and their meanings. In 2012, after much thought, I decided to become a Reiki Practitioner and received my first attunement in order to perform treatments on myself. I received my Level II attunement in 2013 and received my first set of symbols, which I have been practicing for the last several years. On March 31, 2018, I became a Reiki III Master Practitioner and received my fourth symbol, and I am so happy to have had the honor of receiving my Usui Reiki Master Teacher attunement on August 1, 2021. I never turn down an opportunity to learn more or take classes to enhance my energy work and I LOVE to teach others. When we learn, we grow! I incorporate crystals in my everyday life; at home, in the office, on the go, and especially in my Reiki healing.
In 2017, I created Blooming Lotus Designs and starting making and selling my clearing sprays, bath salts, and bracelets for healing and self-care/wellness. In 2019, after much reflection and change, I felt that name no longer fit who I was or what I was looking to accomplish. Then it hit me that my son always said, “you and your energy hippie friends” and I thought how perfect!! Energy Hippie is even more special because I have my son to thank for coming up with my new name!
I look forward to working with, sharing my experiences, and offering my guidance and support to those in need!
