Self-love Challenge-Day 11
Hopefully you had so much fun with today’s challenge connecting with your inner child. She is awesome, fun, full of life, and completely adorable. It’s impossible not to love her. She adores you in return too!
Tomorrow’s challenge is another tough one, and I think by far the hardest. Maybe I think that because it’s the one I have the hardest time with.....
Acceptance.
Yeah, I said it. The A word.
In order for us to love ourselves, we must accept ourselves. All the things we like about ourselves, and all the things we don’t. You can’t move forward if you don’t accept the beautiful, unique, wonderful person that you are.
Write down the top three things that you know you need to learn to accept about yourself, and then own them. That’s right. Own who you are.
I accept the fact that I’m an over thinker. Sometimes it’s a really great thing, as exampled by the thought and care I’ve put into each challenge, and each careful word I write in my posts. And sometimes it’s not, like when I overthink a simple task, or over analyze a conversation wondering if I’ve said the wrong thing or not to the point of stress or exhaustion. But I accept it. It’s a part of who I am, and I work on making it work for me because I’ve accepted it!
I accept that my body is not perfect, and that it never will be. But my body is my home, and I keep it healthy. So what if I don’t look like a Victoria Secret model....that doesn’t make me any less beautiful or special. Being comfortable in my own skin has freed me, has made me feel beautiful, and has given me a glow that only comes from genuine happiness. I’m a self-love graduate!! 💞
Accept what you are, and what you are not. Accept who you are, and who you are not.
Close your eyes and feel the freedom of acceptance as you own yourself. Your inner child accepts you for who you are, and now is the time for you to too. Ohhhh I know it’s hard. But you will love yourself through this. I believe in you, I have faith in you, and I’m right here with you cheering you on. You’ve got this!
