I’m grateful for Help!
Help is one of those things we seem to put off asking for. Whether it’s that we’re too proud to ask, or we feel bad asking, or we feel as though it’s just something we can handle and no one else can help us with. There’s no shame in asking for help in any situation, and sometimes it’s necessary for our own well-being to do so. No one can handle everything on their own.
Help can come in a variety of ways, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. It can be as simple as asking for a hug, or sending positive thoughts. It can be as big as allowing someone to vent or cry their heart out. It can be as generous as giving a few hours to spend with a friend in need over a cup of coffee, a bottle of wine, or having a beach day. It can be as loving as just having them know that you have their back in good times, and in bad...and that you’ll always be there.
Help is a generous gift from others that no one should be ashamed to receive or ask for. Those with the most loving hearts never think twice about giving and offering their help. Help is something that we can offer to anyone; friends, family, neighbors, and strangers too!
Helping others is a fast way to spread love and pay it forward. Those who are helped will help others, and so on and so on.
Remember, not everyone will ask for help but just offering can put someone at ease and let them know you care.
Is there someone you helped, or got help from today? What are you grateful for?
